Aguman Capampangan Northwest USA

Aguman Capampangan Northwest USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Filipino-American organization dedicated to community service and humanitarian aid. Based in Sherwood, OR, the organization has been actively serving the Portland area and beyond since its establishment in 1996. The Aguman specializes in organizing and conducting medical and dental missions to the Philippines, distinguishing itself through hands-on humanitarian work that extends far beyond typical community organizations. Since 1998, the Aguman has successfully coordinated ten major medical and dental missions, providing healthcare services to over 35,000 indigent individuals across multiple regions of the Philippines, including Pampanga, La Union, and Batangas. During these missions, the organization partners with World Medical Relief Inc. to procure essential medical provisions and also distributes educational supplies such as notebooks, textbooks, and clothing to students in underserved areas. Additionally, the Aguman provides relief assistance including rice, canned foods, and noodles to vulnerable populations. Beyond international humanitarian efforts, the organization supports the local Sherwood and Portland community by feeding the homeless during times of crisis. The Aguman also promotes and preserves Kapampangan culture through various cultural events and celebrations, including partnership with Akademyang Kapampangan International for the annual La Naval Fiesta at Cascade Locks. The organization generates funding through annual Christmas caroling and spring Luau events, ensuring sustainable support for its mission-driven work.
